The trade outage level set on your account ensures that you will not lose more than your deposit. In addition, according to ActivTrades' Balance Protection Program, if as a result of trading activity, the balance in your account goes into negative, the company will compensate the negative difference to the zero balance value.
The Program of Protection of Balance extends, also, to joint accounts. In the event that one of your accounts has a negative balance, and on the other - a positive, then the funds from the latter will be used to pay off the negative balance. This rule also applies to joint accounts where all owners are equally liable for both deposits and account obligations.
